Benefits of juicing

Dear Friends,

At LIQUID NUTRITION, your health is our number one priority, and that is why we use the HPP (High Pressure Pasteurization) process on all of our cold pressed juices. HPP is an environmentally friendly process that uses only water, which is continuously recycled, and electricity to run the machine.

To begin with, we produce all of our ORGANIC cold pressed juices in Liquid Nutrition’s central juice making facility. This allows us to centrally control all aspects of the production of our juices and to maintain a temperature controlled environment with the highest quality standards possible. (No need to worry about your juices being produced in the back room of a shop that lacks a cooling and strict quality controls).

Next, we put the finished and sealed bottles of our cold pressed juice into the HPP chamber where they are placed under extreme cold water pressure, the equivalent of eight stories under the ocean. The contents of our juices are never touched, only the exterior of the bottles, (imagine a miniature car wash for bottles). As a result of this extreme cold pressure we are able to destroy any bacteria or pathogens that may have existed – without changing any of the

NUTRITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS or the delicious flavors of our juices.

Last but not least, by means of using the HPP process and by means of ELIMINATING THE BACTERIA that may have existed we are able to extend the shelf life of our cold pressed juices for up to 30 days from the day that they were made.

Having been an avid juicer for many years, and having seen many different juice making operations, I can assure you that the only cold pressed juices that I would ever buy for myself and my family are juices that are made in a temperature controlled, cold pressed juice facility and which were made with HPP. Everything and anything that we ever offer at Liquid Nutrition must pass numerous quality control tests including my most stringent test which is-

WOULD I SERVE THIS PRODUCT TO MY FAMILY?

I hope that you enjoy our Juices as much as I and my family do.

Happy Juicing!

Juicing guidelines

• Consume our juices on an empty stomach, for example: before breakfast, as a snack between meals, and for the more avid juicer, as one of your meals during the day.

• It is best to sip your juice slowly over an hour or so to improve digestion and absorption of the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants contained in the juice.

Pre-cleanse information

In order to make this cleanse successful, we suggest that before you begin, you slowly start to remove all solid foods little by little so that your body is properly prepared for your cleanse.

Start by removing tea, coffee, and sugar from your diet. We know it sounds like an impossible demand, but trust us, it will make you feel like a new person. Do not worry if you experience headaches and nausea around the third day, as your body is simply experiencing withdrawal from the caffeine and sugar, and is getting ready to cleanse or detox. A few days later, remove cheese and other dairy products, followed by the breads, pasta and white rice. Finally, phase out all red meats, chicken and fish.

Satisfy your cravings by consuming raw vegetables, salads, or slightly steamed veggies. You can add lemon, olive oil and a spray of Bragg's for a little extra taste. To help satisfy your sugar cravings, cut up some fruits and berries (apples and pineapples are best!) The first days might be difficult for some, but you'll start feeling amazing once you fight through the cravings.

Only once you you feel mentally and physically ready to completely get off solid foods (which may vary from one person to another) is when you can start Juicing with a smile! You must drink lots of water and lemon to eliminate!

Be kind to yourself and try to reduce daily stress. You will benefit most from a juice cleanse if you are not experiencing a large amount of physical or emotional stress. Stress prevents the body from detoxifying, so you want to be in a relatively balanced and happy state before cleansing.

If possible, do your juice cleanse during a time where you may have a few days off from work, so that you're able to take long walks and enjoy the changes your mind and body are going through.

Possible detox symptoms
  • DIARRHEA

  • CONSTIPATION

  • FATIGUE

  • GENERAL FEELING OF MALAISE

  • HEADACHES

  • NAUSEA

  • BRAIN FOG

  • FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS

If you experience any of these symptoms at a very uncomfortable or severe level, please discontinue your cleanse. It's possible that detoxifying too quickly can be the cause of these symptoms. If necessary, please contact your doctor. A general feeling of malaise or vomiting is not serious, and can be a normal reaction for first time cleansers. Use your own judgment to determine your next steps. Changing your diet too drastically and or too fast is stressful for the body. It is best to err on the side of caution and cleanse slowly, so that you reduce your chances of unpleasant symptoms. This will allow you to stick to your cleanse longer, thereby providing you more optimal results.

POST-CLEANSE REGIME

Just as you ease into cleansing slowly by preparing mentally, physically and even spiritually, ending your cleanse in the same way is recommended. After your juice cleanse, begin your transition back to foods by only eating raw fruits and vegetables. Be sure to eat them slowly and chew them thoroughly. Next, you can add in fresh, hearty salads full of leafy greens, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruit. Smoothies are great to add in as well, and should be consumed slowly.

After a few days of light eating, do a self-assessment of how you feel. Hopefully, going through a juice cleanse has encouraged you to modify your diet to include primarily fresh, clean, plant-based, whole foods, including fresh juices, smoothies and raw fruits and vegetables.

This amazing journey should make you feel so great that you realize that all the things you were eating and drinking before are no longer the things you want or crave.

You must drink lots of water and lemon to eliminate.

Congratulate yourself on completing your cleanse. You have done an amazing job and your body is thanking you for undertaking the adventure of juice cleansing!
